I have a T-Mobile MDA with Windows Mobile 5.0 installed. I have the latest version that supports AD2P (wireless stereo bluetooth profile). I bought some Bluetake BTR450x-L stereo bluetooth headphones to listen to music using media player. The headphones paired perfectly with the unit and work well. However, after I turned off the headphones and then turned them on again later and started playing a song in media player on my phone, it played though the phone speaker rather than the headphones. I have to go into my bluetooth settings, select the device (headphones), tap and hold and select, “Set as Wireless Stereo” from the popup menu in order to get the music to play through the headphones.

I’m afraid there is now quick/happy answer for this.

The MDA is not the best device to use with bluetooth thingies (headphones/gps recievers & alike). Once it has been turned off or the accessory has been turned off you must delete the paired item. then re-bond/re-pair the devices again and it will work. You have to do this every time it is a pain in the neck, but is the price we pay for haqving all these new fangled gadgets.
