It’s on a DVD-RW dvd and I put it into my computer and it plays on Windows Media Player. I’d like to burn it to the computer, take out certain parts and upload them let’s say to youtube. How do I do this?

You can do it with Windows Movie Maker. You probably already have it on your computer. It is free from Microsoft.
Go to Start, Programs, All Programs and check for it. If you don’t have it go here to get it free – http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx
