I am trying to upgrade my computer audio system and I want to purchase an Entech DAC that will bypass my computer’s soundcard and make my stereo sound better. I can’t figure out how to connect my PC to it because it has optical and coaxial inputs. Possible outputs on my PC include:
USB 2.0
Parallel Port
Line In
6pin i.LINK®7 Port (Sony’s version of firewire)
4pin i.LINK® Port (Sony’s version of firewire)

In order to use Optical or Coaxial inputs, your sound card will need to support it. Check the back of your PC sound card. See if there’s a optical input. Or Check online for your Sound Card and see if it is supported/
