I have an iTower OMEGA which i purchased from Sharper Image, it is a fairly new model and i was just wondering if i could hook it up to my tv that way the audio comes out of the iTower instead of the not so great speaker bar attached to the TV. The iTower does have a port on the back that says *video* i have no idea what it is for but there are only two ports on the back, one for the power cord and the other *video* one.
The video port is to go to your display to output the video from the iPod. In order to connect something else to the iTowers you would need a port converter like one of these

and connect it to the head phone output on the TV.
The other option is to make your own using this pinout guide http://pinouts.ru/PortableDevices/ipod_pinout.shtml. Neither are garunteed to work and both could damage the speakers.
