I have a series 2 with a lifetime subscription so I will get the lifetime on the new tivo for a discounted $200.
I can buy the XL with lifetime for $700 or the regular with lifetime for $500
Is 100 more recording hours, THX certified and a remote worth the $200 more?
It depends on if you want to upgrade the drive yourself, and how much HD you really will record.
