When I try to play a dvd in my computer I get the error listed. your system is set to region 1. to play this dvd set your system to region 1. Where can I find a fix for this?Is there a fix for this? How did it happen and How do I avoid this happening again?
This might not help at all but it depends what OS you’re running and what application you’re using to view the DVD. The first time I viewed a DVD on mine (Windows XP) using the Dell Media Centre, I got the same message BUT I just clicked on the help button and found I had to change the default settings.
Have you tried clicking on the help button and maybe doing a search? Or checking your PC manufacturer’s website as these days, many of them have customer support that includes emailing questions, Q&A sections or even a live online chat with a technician who could chat you through how to resolve it.
