I wanna buy a separate home theater subwoofer, the type that could be used with a TV and connect it to my PC. This will then be used with two stereo speakers. Can it be done?
Yes it can. but it depends on your soundcard configuration and home theathre system. i have my 7.1 surround sound system hooked up to my 500 watt home theatre system just fine. There are a ton of variables in the hook ups from set up to set up.
