The Volume control on my stereo of my 1998 dodge avenger is broken it only stays at one set volume and will not turn up or down that’s pretty much the only thing and also when i have the am/fm radio on it turns off after a while but it doesn’t do that when i have the cd player on
It may be cheaper to buy an aftermarket head unit than paying a repair shop to fix the OEM unit. It sounds like the radio is towards the end of its life.
