A boombox originated in late 90s and was initially used to play music from the tapes. Then came the double deck boomboxes which had a radio as well as the tapes and also supported recording of the radio into the tapes. These have gained a lot of craze as the boombox was facilitating portability for music. Whenever one wanted to party or whenever one wanted to carry his music system, he could easily do it by taking his Boombox along. Boomboxes evolved with the evolving technology and now support digital media like CD as well. Although several music systems have come into the market, the Boombox still remained mainly because of the quality of music it offered and also because it allowed easy recording of the Radio output. A boombox has an excellent audio output and hence the name.
A conventional boombox could be used in the lawn or a picnic spot, but not on a beach or by a pool side because the water would ruin its circuitry. The solution for this problem is the waterproof boombox. A waterproof boombox does all that a normal boombox does and offers the same or an even better quality of sound and is water proof. It can be easily taken along to a pool side or a beach and keep you and your friends entertained. Waterproof boomboxes are gaining popularity as the main purpose of a boombox would be to carry it out when needed and what’s the use of having a boombox when you cannot play it in a pool side party or a beach party.
