I want to start my dj career and I don’t know the differences between the differenc speakers that are out on the market today. Thanks.
Also, what is your favorite brand of speakers? What has the best quality?
Speakers can be very expensive so without knowing how much you have to spend, it is hard to say. I personally like powered speakers – they are a bit more expensive but they have the amplifiers built in. Most DJ’s start with a pair of 15 inch two way speakers:

Like I said, speakers are a big investment for DJ’s. My two speakers and a sub cost around $2700 and even that is considered a modest setup for a DJ. Keep in mind that your speaker system is probably the most important part of your setup – they are what produces the sound.
