I have a Technical Pro HB1502U 1500W 7.2 Channel DJ Receiver and would like to hook 8 (4 pairs) of 6 ohm 50W outdoor speakers to it. I am looking at getting a impedance matching volume control to do this, but I don’t know what wattage I would need. The amp is rated at 1500 peak power. Pretty much any speaker switch with impedance matching should work as long as it can handle around 200 watts per input (1500 watts peak / 2 = 750 watts RMS / 4 = 190 watts). That amp has four speaker outputs so you may need to get more than one speaker switch.
