i got a tv, and its kind of an older tv, but not too bad.
i have a dvd player/vcr combo. then a regular vcr.
and also a converter box.
i’ve made it work in the past, but i cant seem to figure it out agian.
i can make the vcr work, but not the dvd player/vcr combo?

The output of the VCR/DVD combo should be copy protected so you need to connect them directly to the TV.
Just buy a video switch.
