So yeah, I bought myself a Sony BDP-S370 player for £180 from sainsburys (where I work)… I was soo excited to have myself a real DVD player 
Had it for a month or 2 now… and have realised it makes a MASSIVE buzzing sound…. it gets pretty hot too… I can hear it over my movie sometimes- It’s so frustrating 
my Phillips standard DVD player I had for 4 years or more was so silent….
Is there something wrong?? Is it faulty? I probably can’t take it back now
Anyone know if there is a way to stop it being so damn loud? It’s like I bought it cheaply but £180 quid is hardly cheap PLUS it’s sony… one of my favourite makes and so well known.
I’d say take it back.
If you can’t take it back to where you bought it, try phoning up Sony customer care. It should be covered by a one year manufacturers warranty, so If you can convince them the noise is a fault, they may replace it.
