I bought one, and it had a glitch in the playback- Philips wouldn’t replace it or repair it themselves, but instead made me send it to an “authorized” service center. They couldn’t fix it… finally after literally HOURS on the phone w/Philips, they eventually sent me a new model to replace it. Now, less than a year later, this one also just stopped working. Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with Philips, and strongly discouraging anyone from buying their cheap products.
Phillips/Magnavox is like a lot of other “name brand” companies (Sony and RCA) that have sold out the consumer by using low quality components and poor quality control. I have stopped buying their higher dollar products like audio and video equipment because they don’t last and they have terrible customer service.
