so i bought a Lotr extended movie pack for 50 dollars online (it has not yet come in the mail) But then the person who was selling the moives E mailed me saying that it only works in laptops and Multi-region dvd players, not regular ones. so whats the differnce ?
Different dvd players have different regions, so the region for the UK would be PAL. That means that any dvd you buy in england would be a PAL dvd, so would only work in PAL dvd players. If I bought a bunch o dvds abroad, they’d be different regions, so they wouldn’t work. It’s basically a way for movie makers to stop people importing cheap dvds I think.
