With the players the Gold Coast has been able to snare, from other clubs so far. this link will give you some sort of idea why. teams like West Coast, Richmond,Essondon and Brisbane. are very much disadvantaged, this season. by finishing down the bottom of the ladder.

2011 to about 2016 will not be good seasons for clubs to do any tanking. and now you will see why.

Every club is disadvantaged by this but … true, I think the bottom clubs can feel completely ripped off. My God … they had the entire first round stitched up! 16 of the best young players plus the free reign to poach stars from other clubs.
The model is unsustainable. The guy is kidding himself … “sustainable success” … my butt. How much does he think he’ll have to pay per year to retain the equivalent of 16 round 1 draft picks in 5 years time?? What a complete idiot and a complete farce.
Everyone else will pay for it for a second time down the track when they’re forced to fund a merger between a North Melbourne and a Gold Coast and probably a move.

EDIT: And hey Lexi, I refuse to buy McDonalds. I do drive a Jap car because Holden offer nothing similar but I’ve actively campaigned against Woolworths snuffing out our local supermarket and butcher (successfully so far). It sucks where ever it happens. (But thumbs up for having an opinion)
