I am thinking of getting a LCD TV (32″ – 40″) and was wondering which brands/series have the capability to read digital video files (e.g., .mpeg, .avi, .mkv) off of a USB flash drive.

I know that some of the LG higher end models can do divx via usb but not sure about other brands. if you check out any try these: Sony XBR Series. Samsung 640 series or higher. LG not sure but I know the LG LED’s can,.. none in the size you want.

just grab a flash drive with what videos you want, go to the biggest TV store around and see if you can plug it in. then check out the software built into the TV.
