I want to make a karaoke system. For this, I want to view the karaoke program on one computer monitor. Other monitors, connected to the computer, I want them to show the lyrics (not the karaoke program).
This is called dual display. The workstation is displayed on one screen (typically a laptop) and the karaoke is displayed on another monitor(s).
Your computer will need the extended desktop feature (found in display settings). Then you will need karaoke hosting software that makes use of this feature.
The connection will be from the s-video out of the computer to an RF modulator (found at your local Radio Shack). The modulator converts the signal to VHF and allows you to connect to any TV. Otherwise you could connect to any monitor or TV that has an s-video connection.
