I have a macbook with a mini dvi input. My tv has a pc montor input, pc audio input, hdmi input and digital audio coaxial output. I bought a mini dvi to vga adapter and the vga does not fit because it’s also input.
Please help!!
The adaptor switches the mini DVI to VGA, but its not meant for connecting. You then need a VGA to VGA cable. That should do the trick for you.
Otherwise just get a mini DVI to HDMI cable. Here’s one from Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/PTC-Mini-DVI-Adapter-6ft-Macintosh/dp/B001H0REVK
For the audio, just get a stereo mini cable. So you go stereo mini out from the headphone jack on the macbook. Then take the other end into the PC audio input on the TV.
