What is the power consumption of CRT Computer monitor? Is it consume high power than the crt TELIVISION?
Look for the amps or watts on the back of the tv and crt. Compare these values.
Remember Ohm’s Law
Watts = Volts x Amps
US standard is 120 volts ac on a wall outlet.
example: if your crt says 2 amps (my 17″ crt)
120×2=240 watts
example: my 35″ Sony tube tv 210 watts max
my little 17″ crt uses more power than my 35″ tv
LCD use alot less power.
