Your going to want an amp that can push 2000 watts or more and handle a 2 ohm load. This sub is unique, because the voice coils are 1.2 ohms (most are 2 or 4 ohms). My recommendation would be to run the voice coils in series. This will increase the impedance to somewhere close to 2.4ohms. The diagram is a dual voice coil sub being run in series.

The ohm loads are not the same as your sub but this is how I recommend you run the wiring. If the diagram were to match your sub the 2ohm symbols would say 1.2ohms and the 4ohm symbol would say 2.4ohms.
I recommend a Rockford Fosgate’s 2500-1bdCP Or Hifonics’ BRZ3000.1D Pro for the best quality sound and performance. These amps can be expensive though the Rockford can easily run $1000 US and the Hifonics can run $700 US plus. The Kicker ZX2500.1 is another option I personal am partial to Rockford and Hifonics but Kicker does make really good stuff and this might be the best option. The Kicker ZX2500.1 runs for about $800 US but puts out just as much power as the Rockford. You should be able to find a dealer in the UK for these amps. Rockford and Kicker are US based and Hifonics is German but I’m not sure.
