the projector is an Entertainment TV Projector (http://www.amazon.com/Merch-Source-Entertainment-TV-Projector/dp/B001GWFBNM/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t#moreAboutThisProduct). I am technically challenged so that is all I can say. The computer I have is an HP Pavilion ze2000. What kinds of cables do I need to play movies on the projector? Will this projector even work with my computer?
Unfortunately the product information page doesn’t tell you what signal input it needs. The image looks like it has either a composite (RCA-type jack) and/or an S-Video input port.
If you have a VGA-out port on the computer (it’s shaped like an angular D and has fifteen pins in three rows) you’ll need a VGA to S-Video adapter. If you have an S-Video out port on your PC you just need an S-Video cable. (S-Video is round.)
I wouldn’t buy this product unless you can get the input/output specs so you can know exactly what kind of cabling you’ll need.
