I just had someone give me a Toshiba DVD-RAM/DVD-R/DVD-RW RECORDING player. Model D-94SU. They didn’t have the remote, now that I have it hooked up I can’t get past the initial setup screen. I have tried 2 universal remotes and couldn’t get either to work on it. Is there anyway to bypass this screen without a remote? I JUST WANT TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!
You should be able to use the controls on the front of the DVD player to navigate through the menu, otherwise you’ll have to contact Toshiba and buy a new remote.
Devices that can’t be used without the remote == LAME.
