To solve the puzzle, you can use what I call the ‘Horse’ technique. It’s called ‘Horse’ because the movement of how the numbers will be placed on the cube is similar to the horse move in chess.
The cube has 6 different sides, so 6 * 4 = 24; there are 8 available unique numbers. So, 24 / 8 = 3. Each number can only be used 3 times to ensure that there are no rows or columns with the same number.
