I read that you can only use the radio if your headphones are plugged in, however, I’m wondering if there is anyway that the radio will work when I dock my iPod on my iHome?
No. The Nano 6G needs a connection through the earphone jack for the Radio to work. Most iHome’s use the 30 pin connection. I have seen a lot of iHome’s which include radio already, but there is a way to use the Nano 6G’s Radio with the iHome.
Some iHome’s do have a “stereo in” port, which means that you can connect your Nano 6G to the iHome by using the right cable. The cable usually is called “3.5mm stereo male to male”. Google it!
