The home theatre set is common thing for the people’s house in the modern era like now. Sometimes they do not only own the home theatre set but also the speaker or audio device to support the audio effect of the movie played. To enjoy the audio device’s function, you should connect your home theatre set with the speaker.
It might look difficult to connect the devices but actually it is quite easy. The important thing is you know where to plug the cables. You also need to understand the cable’s type which can deliver the best audio.
The first thing you should do is checking the backside of the amplifier or the receiver so you can find the best audio cable which is suitable with the amplifier. After that, you also need to check the backside of the DVD player. You can set the top box and other devices to decide the audio cables you can use. Minimally, you will be able to find the white and red RCA connector. This connector is labeled with the “to receiver” or the “audio output”. Other labels are the optical and digital.
You should plug the right cable which matches the input on the receiver. It is better for you to add the subwoofer with digital audio cable from the digital output which is located on the speaker’s backside to the receiver or amplifier which is marked with the ’subwoofer’.
After that, you will be able to attach the speakers to your amplifier. You just need to connect the wires which colors copper to the red connector on the speakers and also receiver. The wire with silver colored is plugged to the black connectors. The left side, the right side, the center side, the rear left side, and the rear right on the receiver’s inputs are usually labeled.
