We have a computer hooked to a projector and an lcd television. Since the computer only has two of the ports to plug things such as this in, we cannot plug it into the computer monitor at the same time it is plugged into the projector and tv. Is there a way to plug it in to all three at the same time? What would we need to get in order to do this?
Yes, you’ll need splitters. If it’s all short distances, you might get away with a simple “Y” cable. If you get poor signal, you’ll need an active splitter.
This is assuming your projector doesn’t have a pass-through port, which all of mine do. If it has one, then you can just connect the monitor to that port.
