Does Harman Kardon make in-wall or in-ceiling speakers?
I’ve been on the HK website and I see they have the modules but no actual speakers. The modules are just controls, but from there you must have speakers to hook to. I have been running search after search and can only find speakers from JBL or Infinity that are tied with HK. Anyone able to help me? Moving into my new house soon and would like to have them in before I’m actually through the door. Thanks so much
Or maybe I’m wrong and don’t fully understand the HK multi-room systems…Still, can anyone help me out?
H/K is an electronics manufacturer. They do not make speakers. Speaker design and construction is really a separate area of expertise. Most speakers that carry the name brand of an electronics firm are usually quite poor performers. They are usually put together with little design work, simply so that the company can have a “full line” of products–from source to speaker. In many cases, the work is farmed out to sub-contractors, and the brand is simply stuck onto the product as an afterthought.
