I just got a modem which has a cable outlet and a ethernet outlet. I connected the cable wire to the modem and wall jack. Then i connected the ethernet wire together with the xbox 360 and modem. I turn on the xbox and go to start up live. But the connection shows that the 360 and network cant connect. I have internet already but i don’t have cable, so can someone please tell me whats wrong
Have you connected a computer to the internet using your “Modem” to see if the internet works at all?
Have you checked the manual for your Xbox ? make sure all the internet settings are set to Automatic.
