my tv has a hole for digital audio cable, but my home teather doesn’t have a hole for digital audio cable, is old.
Digital Audio comes in two flavors, Toslink or Optical, and RCA Digital Coax. The home theater might have a RCA Digital Coax input. In this case, an RCA yellow Video cable works just fine. If you have toslink out of the TV but not RCA Digital, then there are converters.
