I am currently looking into getting the following setup to upgrade from my Bose lifestyle 35 w/ jewel cubes (which the amp’s so screwed up that i cannot turn it up past 63!) I would like to get:
Receiver: Pioneer vsx1120-k 7.1 channel
Fronts: Polk audio monitor 70’s in cherry wood
Rear: Polk audio monitor 30’s in cherry
Subwoofer: JBL ES250PCH 12″ 4OO watt
Center: Polk audio CS10
Does this sound like a good combo? Will all of these speakers work seamlessly with the vsx-1120-k receiver? Alternatives for rears? We like the wood cherry finish on all these speakers. Thanks for the input! -Bobby
Looks like a nice step up from the Bose. Everything should work fine. just make sure you have good speaker wire, subwoofer cable, and banana plugs to make the connections easier.
