I want a 2.1-Ch. Home Theater System. My apartment is small so I do not need a zillion watts of power. I do want something that sounds really good though. Also, most systems will play dvds. Are any of these good for getting high quality DVD pictures or should I buy a separate DVD player? I would like to keep everything as simple as possible though. I just don’t want to buy a DVD player then find out that I could have gotten 2.1-Ch. Home Theater System that plays DVD’s just as well. I have a SAMSUNG Black 32 Inch Model LNS3296DX TV. Any advice? Should I try a different audio setup? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I would like to mirror some of the other answers with just a little more.Especially for your first system in a small room.
1st go to E-Bay.
Go for a 5.1 system minimum. You can always use 2 spkrs & subwoofer.You might regret it later if you don’t
Go name brand, Yamaha, Onkyo, Dennon, Pioneer if possible.
Try to find one with Optic Audio and S-Video inputs. This is the least complicated way to hook up your equiptment
It’s easy to find the combination of components you are looking for. Someone else IS upgrading. Happens daily.
Follow the manual on hooking it up. They really do help !
DO your homework. See something you like to buy, type in the model number into a search engine or www.cnet.com and read up on your system. Make an informed choice. And have fun Don’t want to do e-bay? Try Sams club or Walmart, Best buy, Circut city. They have great web only deals. LISTEN to MANY.
