I want to preorder the new ipod touch and have it shipped on the day it comes out. I was wondering if any stores offer a perk if you preorder it. Also, I do not want to pay more than $229, which is what it would cost if i ordered it from the Apple store with free shipping.
I am aware that the Apple store offers a free engraving on the back if you purchase it from them but I was wondering if there were any better perks from other stores, otherwise I will order it from Apple.
Apple is the only retailer that will offer the preorders on the device, if you are looking at the 8 GB iPod touch, its going to cost you $229 plus applicable taxes, but you will receive free shipping, the one downfall from ordering now is that there are no cases being offered by apple for the new touch, other than the apple socks (Which aren’t that great), but if you wait, you will beput farther down the list for the pre orders, and it will not ship the day of (by the way, I already orderd my 32 GB 4th gen and the estimated delivery date is sept 10th)
