My iPod earphones broke this morning and I know absolutely nothing about the market of earphones, so I was wondering what earphones are a good alternative and/or any good cheaper ones?
Ipod headphones are generally okay. They have pretty puny bass tolerances, but the sound from them is acceptable. The main problem is the shoddy build, they almost always break in the first couple of months.
If you’re going for a new set of headphones, you should really splash out on a more expensive set than some cheap and nasty ones – it’ll be cheaper in the long run since you won’t need replacements. You should have a look at old fashioned Sony cans (big over the head ones) and bose in ear ones if you’re willing to spend a lot.
If you’re looking for a similar set to your old ipod ones with a better bass level and much better build quality, get some JVC gumy headphones, the sound is good and they come in a whole bunch of colours. They’re really cheap too, about £10 ($20).
