I have a computer that i can take the power supply from and i have an old unicord amp with a 12″ speaker and i want to add two smaller tweakers to it, so i can get the higher tone from my guitar also. So i guess the question would be is if i can use a power supply from a computer and splice the wires and hook it up to my amp so i can add more speakers? OR if you have a better solution to my problem without spending any money the please tell me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
There is no way to properly answer this question without knowing:
– What the supply is capable of
– What the amp requires
– What your skill level is (which I’m guessing is very little)
That all said, it sounds like if you do this you’re going to either shock yourself, ruin the amp you have, or both.
If you don’t know anything about electronics, then put down the power supply and wire cutters, and back slowly away from the bench.
