I want to be able to use my wireless laptop with it.
you need a wireless router at home to be able to connect and if your lappy has not got wifi built in you need an adapter for it as well, i suggest a pcmcia pc card adapter as they are more reliable and are better protected against knocks as they fit almost completely into the lappy with only the end sticking out
